What we fix

Every job starts with the same question: where is the water coming from? The answer decides which of these you actually need.

Water after heavy rain

Puddles on the slab, a tide mark on the wall, a smell that never clears. We read the signs and find where it is getting in.

French drain systems

An interior perimeter drain takes groundwater out from under the slab — with no excavation of your garden or driveway.

Sump pump installation

Properly sized pit, primary pump and a discharge run far enough from the house that the same water does not come straight back.

Basement leak repair

Seepage through block, failed mortar joints and cracks in the foundation wall, sealed from the correct side.

Basement mould removal

Remediation plus the drainage work that removes the moisture feeding it — otherwise the mould simply comes back.

How it works

Four steps from the first phone call to a basement that stays dry.

1. Free inspection

Our estimator comes to the house, checks gutters, grading, the wall/floor joint and the slab, and works out where the water is actually coming from.

2. Written estimate

You get a fixed, itemised price on paper. No pressure to sign on the spot — take it away and compare it.

3. Installation

Most single-family jobs take two to three days. Belongings covered, dust contained, everything cleaned up before we leave.

4. Lifetime warranty

Workmanship is covered for the life of the home, and the cover transfers to the next owner if you sell.

Common questions

The things homeowners ask us most often before booking an inspection.

Why does water only come into my basement after heavy rain?

That pattern almost always points at surface water rather than groundwater — overflowing gutters, downspouts discharging at the foundation, or a grade sloping back toward the house. It is usually the cheapest kind of wet basement to fix, which is why we check it before recommending anything larger.

French drain or sump pump — which does my house need?

A French drain is passive and needs somewhere lower than the basement for the water to drain to. A sump pump does not depend on gravity and copes far better with sediment, but it needs electricity. Most of the systems we install combine perimeter drainage feeding a properly sized pit and pump.

How long does a basement waterproofing job take?

Most single-family installations are finished in two to three working days. We open only the perimeter of a finished basement, protect your belongings and contain the dust.

What does the lifetime warranty actually cover?

Our workmanship on the installed system, for the life of the home rather than the life of your ownership. If you sell the house, the cover transfers to the new owner.

Do you offer financing?

Yes — we offer financing to every customer with rates as low as 0 percent, so a waterproofing project does not have to be paid for in one go.

Which parts of New Jersey do you cover?

We work throughout New Jersey from our base in Scotch Plains, including Union, Essex, Bergen, Middlesex, Morris and Monmouth counties and the surrounding areas.
